Epson Picture Mate

(5 out of 5) by S. L. Greaves on Jan 30, 2009 (United Kingdom)
I have the Epson Picture Mate 100 - which, for a cost of £49.95 at the time is a real bargain! Using the correct Epson cartridge (the T573), gives amazing results on the 10 x 15cms prints. They are really professional, clear, with amazing colours! In fact, I find that they are actually better than some I had done at a professional photo-lab! I would choose this over compatibles any day. There is always enough photo papers to cover the lifetime of the cartridge. And they are really easy to fit and remove! Recommended indeed...CHEERS!

why pay more?

(5 out of 5) by B. Allen on Apr 15, 2009
Why get the car out, use fuel, pay for parking and still find that the cartridge you want cost more everywhere. Why use complicated websites, pay extra for post and packing and wait ages. Why not use Amazon, cheaper, uncomplicated, faster and it is exactly the same product which will not damage your printer because you are using the Manufacturer's own product. Fantastic. Oh and you can shop 24 - 7 too!

Why do you have to buy cartridge and paper together?

(4 out of 5) by Mrs. C. Blackwood on Sep 4, 2009 (Aberdeen, Scotland)
Cartridge and paper up to a very good standard, however I am always disappointed that, now that the printer is a few years old, you only seem to be able to get cartridge and paper packs and not cartridges by themselves. Similarly, Epson seem to "chip" their cartridges so that you can only use their own ones in the printers. I have tried generic ones but they never work and rather grudge paying the very large cost of Epson cartridges when they are never used to the full extent as the colours are all in single cartridge and so can never exhaust the ink fully. One cartridge isn't sufficient to print out a whole packet of paper so I have a number of surplus packets of photo paper left over.

Lucky I had this in hand

(5 out of 5) by J. Boyes on Apr 20, 2009 (Yorkshire England)
I bought these cartridges for a Picturemate 100 I had also ordered. It's lucky I did as the printer (second hand) though stated "as new" was dried up inside. It took half of this cartridge and half the paper to get the printer going. The photos look great just like shop processed and the ink dries very quickly. The whole transaction was excellent!

Epson Picture Pack costs

The product is a genuine Epson product, but about £10 cheaper than in the local camera shop.
