GREAT PHONE

Oct 18, 2005 - By Amazon Customer

This phone is fantastic the setup is just like any other samsung phone, easy to use. It has a great rotatable camera for picturing your self and what ever else you fancy, as this phone is 3g you can video phone your friends and download the latest video clips. if i had a budget of 100 pounds to spend on a phone this would be the one i would go for, its great value for money.

A feature packed phone at a reasonable price

Dec 29, 2005 - By Brian Samuel (Sawston, Cambridgeshire United Kingdom)

I bought this phone for my daughter and I must say that I am very impressed with the style and the features. However, it has been a headache trying to get her favourite tunes (mp3s) onto the phone (see below). First the positive points: Easy to navigate through menus, Bright and vivid display screen, Rotating camera, Bluetooth compatible, over 40Mb user memory and overall it looks and feels good. The PC interface software (and USB driver) is easy to install and the application is easy to use – just drag file from your hard disk and drop them into the phone folders.
It also has an MP3 player but as I said that’s when all the head scratching started. When trying to send an MP3 file to the Sounds folder on the phone (either through the software or via Bluetooth) the phone refuses to recognize the file as a music file. In the end I had to convert the *.mp3 file to a *.m4p file (using iTunes) then rename the file using the extension *.mp4.
So with the *.mp4 files (AAC) on the phone you can listen to them through the phones speaker or using the (supplied) stereo earphones, but you can’t select them to use as ringtones! However when I send a music file from my K700i to the Z140v (via bluetooth) it stores it in the ringtone folder and hey presto you can select it as a ringtone!

Briliant Phone - I Highley Recommend It

Jan 3, 2006 - By Jo wood (UK)

This phone is absolutly brilliant. It is packed full of high quality features for example: Godd quality camera, Long video recording (if you change settings you can record for around 1hour), bluetooth and Infared.

Best of all, if you get this phone then you will be on vodaphone (z140'V') that means you will have 'vodaphone live' witch enables you to look for music tracks, wallpapers, video footage and also allows you to check all different kinds of sporting results(all for free!). Also on mine I have free sky for a month, and the quality of it is awsome.

This phone is a must get, an for the price I can see no better phone.

OMFG GREAT!

Dec 20, 2005 - By Amazon Customer

I got this phone yesterday and its really good. Oh yea, And if you go on camera and it upside down when you rotate it, its not faulty. just press the up module on the left of the phone. :) Its an absolutely great phone. 3G, 262k screen, Bluetooth, Video Capture, VGA Camera, MP3 Player, And more!!!
Its worth the £130 seriously! And it looks smarter in real life!

great phone but...

Jan 21, 2006 - By MATT

i've owned this phone for nearly four months and the one thing wrong is the fact the battery lasts less than a day... and thats with it just on standby, i don't know wether its my phone or has anyone else found this problem?
as for features, well you can't go wrong really; bluetooth, high quality camera mp3 player 3G, what more do you need? well one more thing; removable memory, you just can't store enough on it.
