I bought a new computer and was not pleased with the speaker system which came with it (why have a good computer and a horrible sound system eh?), so after a bit of research for suitable 2.1 speaker systems, my choice was narrowed between JBL's Creature II and the Logitech Z-4i system. My friend owns a pair of JBL Creatures but complains that there is no remote (have to go under the desk to change any bass/treble settings) and that the mid-range tones could be better, but that they are very high quality speakers. After many hours of reading reviews I quavered between these two speakers, the Logitech apparently dramatically improving over its previous efforts and the JBL giving the quality such a brand name carries.
I eventually went with the Logitech's and they are a very nice pair of speakers. Two compressors and a regular speaker in each satellite and a healthy amount of bass pumping from the sub woofer (you wont want the dial anywhere past half way unless you want to annoy your neighbors) makes these speakers perfect for my setup.
They look sturdy, with metal stands and casing and sound quality is higher than you expect for a company such as Logitech, who are less popular in the speaker world than brands such as Bose, JBL and Creative. Despite this, the Z-4i speakers hold their own in their price range. All in all, very nice speakers and very similar in price and comparability to the JBL Creature II- although the corded remote on the Logitech is definitely a plus which will make you love these just a little more than their competition.

I bought these because my old speakers were giving me terrible sound quality, i had just bought a new imac and the old ones just didnt do it justice both in sound and looks. After much deliberation i opted for this set from amazon, Amazon was the lowest price and i knew i would have to wait a few weeks but didnt mind. So anyway the sound these can produce is incrediblee considering how small they are, also they just look fantastic next to my imac.

The remote control is a very useful feature, it has headphone output, aux in (for mp3 etc) and has volume, bass controls and of course on/off swith. The subwoofer delivers as much bass punch as you would like where the satelites deliver fantastic mids and highs, wheen looking at the design of them i was a little scepticle but they work incredibly well.

So a fantastic set of speakers, they easily look the best in their price range, and the sound as far as i am concerned is second to none.

I recently purchased a new laptop - bottom of the range, but it was fine for what I needed. The only problem was the tiny, tinny mono speaker. I have been searching fork a good speaker system for weeks and I am incredibly pleased with these speakers

They can go pretty loud (much too loud for my neighbours!!) and the subwoofer is brilliant.

The two speakers give a clear treble sound and the mid-range is super too.

As for distortion, there is practically none, even when playing Nirvana at max volume!!!

Perfect for music, DVDs, games... and the Amazong price is great - about £15 cheaper than I have seen it. Buy these - you will not regret it!!

At this price I didn't expect these to speakers to be much. OK, the reviews are good, but did the reviewers mean that for the price they are really good?
Well, I ordered and WOW, they are really excellent. Not only that but I will be ordering a second set for my son. Except they might play a bit to loud.... hmm have to think about that. :)

If you want Good Quality and White speakers fit into your PCs colour scheme you need not look further. The Sub-Woofer unit is a tad bigger than I expected but works a treat. I'm not one for having lots of bass but I do like my music to have a bit of "Umph" to it and these speakers more than meet my requirements whilst looking the part too! 5/5 (Especially when considering the price)
