Make your PC sound better than it ever has
I don't like bass woofers that produce earth shaking base with little mid range detail and then seemingly seperate from all that some noise in the higher range from some small tweeter units.
Other 2 way speakers I have used for music from my pc have had little or no base but with plenty of top end detail or have come across as flat and muffled across the whole frequency spectrum.
These Philips speakers are a revelation. They are a small speaker but have more than enough bass, a suprising amount in fact, but its controled and not overpowering. More importantly it is integrated into the mid and upper frequency as no 2.1 speaker system is, producing a detailed, rich and acurate sound that is a joy to listen too whatever sort of music you enjoy.
Couldn't recommend them more.

Philips msMMS321
I love these speakers, saw them in the store, bout 60 bucks, and have always wanted a sub. But hated having to have atleast 3 speakers,(2 tops, and a sub that is constantly getting kicked, and bumped. ) and after seeing some with 5 speakers, I could not imagine where these extra wires and speakers would go. Then i saw these in the store. Personally not liking a deep booming overpowering bass, but yet enjoying a full rich layered sound to your music, these speakers are perfect. The built in bass is enough to fill out that "void" left by 2 speaker pc units, but doesn't overpower the vocals or higher tones in the music. Their design is very sleek and modern, a perfect complement to my LCD screen and metal and wood corner unit computer desk. I didn't find any problems with the placment of the power and volume. Infact You can turn them on or off with a single finger. Just simply grasp the base of the speaker with your right hand, thumb on the left, and index finger on the nub of the power/volume button, and simply turn the dial. I have found the speakers very stable, infact having 2 cats and 3 dogs running around the house, they have not fallen over once. These speakers are a definite must have for someone that enjoys a full "concert" sound without an overpowering obtrusive bass. BTW, the power source is large, but its also FLAT, so it can slide rught under the base support of your computer desk, and not in your way. You willd definatly enjoy, if not love these speakers.

Amazing
I have these speakers hooked up to my sony mp3 player and they are awsome. the sound quality is amazing and the bass shakes the floor at max volume. i havent managed 2 max them out yet and even on the line out function on my mp3 player they dont get destorted at high volumes. well worth the £70 and great for using with an mp3 or ipod as the only connector is a normal headphone jack.

Do Not Buy These Speakers
I read all the great reviews these were getting on here and decided to buy a pair. Its true the sound quality is good for the size, but two months after buying them one of the speakers developed a constant buzzing noise, even when no music was playing. I contacted Amazon and arranged an exchange for another pair, but this pair too packed up after two months, with one speaker refusing to work at all. Amazon have advised me this is a widespread fault with these speakers which clearly have a poor design or some sort of inbuilt bug. Don't bother ordering them, you'll only have to fork out for returns postage after two months.

Yes Please
I bought these speakers before coming back to uni because I cannot stand laptop speakers. Got them home..plugged them in to test them...and oh boy was I a happy bunny. They are a good buy, they have very good quality sound of all ranges, and they are also incredibly attractive..not too big not too small and they are very beautiful to look at, so it is a good job the sound coming out of them is good.
