So easy even my parents can use it

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Dec 27, 2005
Having read a few reviews for this printer I decided to rope my brother into buying it for our parents for Christmas. I was a little anxious about it (would the photos look good or have lines across them?), however it arrived quickly and looked pretty smart when I took it out of the box. It was actually smaller than I imagined it would be.

Setting up the printer was quick and incredibly easy (even for people who still have to ask how to start the DVD player). The first picture was selected and printed in what seemed like seconds. All my worries about photo quality were put to rest, if you were to show these photos to people they wouldnt know that you had just printed it yourself. We now have a stack of top notch photographs waiting to be put in albums!

Infact, we have printed so many pictures we need to get another packet of paper and a new ink cartridge! Worth every penny!

Quality easy to use product - good quality photos

Bought this as a present for my dad for Christmas.
The printer is relatively small and compact, fast to print, colours are great and its simple to use... so simple even my dad can use it :-) The quality of the photos is really good, based on the price of the paper/cartridge pack the photos work out at about 16p each which isnt too bad. If your looking at buying a photo printer I would definately recommend this one.

A good purchase BUT..........

(5 out of 5) by Andrew Collins on Apr 20, 2006 (Devon UK)
Well pleased with the print quality, simple operation and ease of installation. My original ink cartridge didn't even print 20 photos, but, so what, I'd bought a refill at the same time. Trouble was, it didn't fit, so be warned, make sure any replacement is definitely for the PictureMate 100! I hope the new cartridge lasts longer otherwise it will be an expensive hobby.

Brilliant piece of equipment

(5 out of 5) by Mrs. C. L. Villa on Jan 4, 2006 (UK)
I bought this item for my father as a christmas present and he hasnt stopped praising its performance since. He loves it, small and easy to transport, and amazing picture quality. He tested the machine by printing out a photograph he had previously had produced by a photo reprints shop, both direct from the memory card - the Epson Picture Mate version is much better! What an excellent machine and the perfect gift for a digital photographer.
