The creative zen micro 6gb orange has a decent storage capacity of around 3000 songs it has a decent battery life of around 12 hours but sadly there are better battery lifes around. The unit is very easy to navigate with a vertical touch pad. It has an fm radio built in with which you can program up to 32 preset stations. Unfortunatly if you are buying this over others just for the fm radio don't creative fm radios are flawed and give barely audible sound. On the upside however the unit comes with a built in voice recorder, a personal organiser and of course a random shuffle play to listen back your music. The software that comes with the creative is easy to use but in my opinion not as good as apples itunes. In the box you will get a creative zen micro, earphones, usb2 cable, installation software and a lithium ion battery but no charger or wired remote so charging only available through usb2 however charger available at extra cost a remote control is also available seperatly . I recommend this unit as on mp3 playback the unit sounds exceptional but i do have issues such as i feel the fm radio is flawed and the unit is just slightly to bulky to fit in your pocket comfartably and their are hidden costs with the missing accs. Regarding the battery life i reccomend that if you are going to buy the craetive zen micro, then i reccomend that you buy a spare battery so that you can raplace it on the go to double your battery life. If you can over look what are minor flaws in a good quality easy to use mp3 player then i reccomend this unit thouroughly.

This little beauty is going to have to be surgically removed from my ears! I'm not the best person to give a technical review but it looks and sounds great, and as a technophobe I was thrilled to have over 200 tracks transferred in minutes.If I can do it, anyone can!
I love the touch controls and was pleased the sensitivity can be altered, or the controls can be turned off while its in your bag/pocket.

I Got this player in retina-searing orange for Christmas and I cannot recommend the ZEN Micro enough. It looks totally different in the pictures, being more luminous marker than apparent metallic orange - the missus says it looks awful but I like it and it looks cool with the blue neon).
I found it dead easy to use with very good software for ripping and transferring music. Headphones are OK but lose the plot a bit when heavy-ish bass comes on e.g. dance music, so I've ordered the Premium accessory kit which has better buds along with a mains supply, skin and extra battery.
Very happy with the battery life itself, haven't timed it but easily 10 hours play-time. Also 6GB is plenty as I will probably just get bored of what's on it in a couple of months and transfer new stuff on. It only takes 20-odd seconds to load up an album once it's been ripped so no hassle at all. Their advertising of 3000 song-capacity is all well and good, but I don't imagine 64kbps would sound that fantastic, so 128kbps would be a better compromise to go for and still have enough music to listen to.
The only reason I've not given it the full 5-stars is that on a couple of occasions it has booted up and the screen has frozen with half of the ZEN Micro logo still showing. The music started playing no problem and the screen sorted itself after about 10 seconds, but still something to keep an eye on.

Ive heard this MP3 player described as an iPod killer and can honestly see why, the FM radio and just about scratch resistant body hold its own against the reign of apple on the MP3 market, the new neeon is definatley going to be another hit from creative and if i had the money id buy it quite simply. The colour choice has to be one of the greatest aspects of this outstanding personal MP3 player, FM radio and personal organsier with the peace of mind that your MP3 player wont scratch or break if you press to hard and the revolutionising vertical pad as creative say "no more going round in circles". My overall review of this product would be a 5* rating and in a memory format to suit all theres little room for improvements.

I love this! Its such a good product. One of the features i like a lot is that you can adjust the sensitivity of the touch screen. At first its a bit tricky to use. But that is not the products fault, its just human error i suppose.

The software is really easy to use aswell. I could even install it and i am hopeless at using new technology!

Another feature that is great is that there are many ways of searching for a song...through genre, artist, albums and song title.

I also like the fact that it can calculate which songs that you have listened to the most, the album which you have listened to the most and the songs which you have listened to the least.

I can only think of one complaint: the USB cable is kind of short, but i suppose its long enough to do its job.
