Apple computers have to be the best ones out there. Not only are they immune to viruses (unlike all PC's running on Windows XP and below) but they have the smoothest operating system out there. Mac OS X is the most advanced, secure, and beautiful operating system on earth. It's also easy to use, which can't be said for most other operating systems. iBooks, as well as looking great, are loaded with Mac OS X. This means that for once you can do whatever you want without hackers watching your every move and messing up your computer with viruses. Another thing that not many laptops have is ling battery life. With iBooks, you can easily squeeze at least four hours out of the battery doing things that use a lot of processor power, like playing 3D game (quite well I might add). And remember how I said that iBooks were secure? Well, they're secure in more than just sofware. All iBooks now come with a sudden motion sensor. This means that if your computer experiences sudden axis rotation or quick movement, e.g. the computer falling off a desk, the Hard Drive will lock into place, preventing the Hard Disk from getting scratched. And if that's not enough, the smooth white plastic that covers the clamshell is made from polycarbonate fiber. Believe it or not, this is one ingredient found in bulletproof glass. Granted, this doesn't mean that you can just go up to an iBook and shoot it and be able to turn it on again, but it does give some extra protection. iBooks also come with a host of extras, like AirPort Extreme (NOT Xtreme, there's no such thing) Bluetooth, DVD burner, large Hard Drive, and lots of RAM. Compare that to an average PC Laptop. Only the most expensive of them come with Intel Centrino Mobile Technology (same as AirPort Extreme) and the same goes for Bluetooth and DVD burners. So if you are looking for one of the best consumer laptops, one that's like a Volvo in the way that safe doesn't have to be boring (just wait till you start playing a 3D game!) than this laptop is definitely the one for you.
