I upgraded to this from the Antec SLK3000B case that I bought from Amazon. I was really impressed with the quality of that case and so stuck with Antec. The build quality of the P180 is excellent. The slogan Antec have chosen for this case is 'Without Compromise' and the case certainly feels like it was built that way. The 3-ply aluminium/plastic walls feel as solid as a rock and help to deaden case vibrations. The 3 supplied 120mm Tri-Cool fans and options for many more provide numerous opportunities for cooling. However, I have to say that the temperatures of my system have increased in this case and I believe this is because it does not have the CPU vent in the side wall like the Antec SLK3000B. This case is pricy and I'm not convinced it's worth the extra above the Antec SLK3000B. For the enthusiast only.

This is the first time I have started to build my own computer, after being fed up of slow PC world type computers. I bought this mid tower as my shell, and was I suprised. This thing is huge, its twice the size of my tower that i have, and twice the size of most towers. It is a great looking case, and inside is spacious and roomed out great. The seperate power supply unit draw is genius, and as for room for 5 fans, after what the computers going to be used for this would come in very handy. Installing 5 fans may make it nosier, but to be honest thats a small price to pay for a shell thats going to hold so much inside. This buy is great, well worth paying a little bit more for a tower that ultimetly looks great and is amazing inside.

Everything was going quite well in the build and i was loving the new case until i discovered that the ATX12V cable from my PSU wasn't long enough to reach(not by much mind you, but an inch is as good as a mile as they say). This is because the PSU is mounted at the bottom of the case and not at the top which is where it usually is.

Fortunately I have a Hiper modular PSU and I was able to whip out my soldering iron and make a new cable which can go round the case and not over the mobo etc.

If companies are going to be clever with their designs they really should consider the end user and supply the necessary extensions etc they may require.

But this out of the way I really do like the case everything fitted in well and there are 3 case fans supplied which gets the air moving nicely. It's not a small case nor is it light.

This is a great case. I got my computer built at a local shop, I had an NVidia 9800 GX2 to go inside, the original antec case was two small and had the choice of the smaller case being cut up to fit it or have this case. Wisely I took the bigger case with no regrets of the extra cost. It may be big but it's solid and can hold a lot of hard drives too due to the chamber design. I can run it for days on end due to uni work demanding days of calculations and can sleep whilst it is on as it is quiet enough.

If you want a big neat case I recommend this. It can also be cleaned easily with removable filters at the front though is heavy !!!

can anyone who owns one please tell me if the total height, including the removeable 'dust fin' is 54.1cm or is that the height of just 'box', excluding the dust fin?
only i built my desk some time ago for a different case and the pc 'slot' is about 1cm too low for this 54.1cm case, but i love the case and wanted it for some time
