Brilliant
Just got mine and love it. I didn't download any software, just connected the USB and transferred songs from my Windows Media Player on to it and it was so quick to do. Prefer it to my brother's Ipod Shuffle as the Creative Nano has a display screen and so you can see what songs coming up and also, it takes normal batteries so no need to worry about the inbuilt battery life wearing down like the shuffle. Also cos u don't need to charge it up like Ipods, it's easy to take on holiday with you as u can just buy some batteries when the battery runs out (the battery lasts 18 hours and u only need one battery)With the shuffle, u need to charge it on a computer's USB and on holiday, I ain't going to have my laptop with me.

perfect first step
This is my first step into the world of digital music and this dinky player is just perfect. Completely compatible with windows XP with easy to use software and includes windows media 10. The scroll function is easy and simple to use and the LCD screen is handy to view your tracks. My only gripe is that the player organises your tracks into alphabetical order but this can be overcome by putting your tracks into folders - which I believe most small players do not allow. Buy it you wont be disappointed!

Good price/performance & design
I just bought this mp3 player. Getting started is really easy and using the LCD screen with the scrolling function really handy and intuitive. Sound quality is good. Can be used to store data (files) as well. The incorprorated FM radio is a nice additional feature (for when you're bored with your own tracks). Transfer of tracks to the player is done in seconds. Works with USB1.1 as well. The player is also equiped with a built-in microphone to facilitate recordings. It is a very complete player and even the design is appealing. Comes with software, headphones, battery (AAA) and quick start manual.
Only minus in my view: doesn't work with Apple/Mac OS X.

Small and perfectly formed
This is a cracking bit of kit for around £50. Sound quality is good. It's very easy to drag and drop files on to the player using your PC. I've managed to get three albums on the player no problem and it takes no time at all to transfer files. The battery life is excellent. Mine came with a AAA battery from a well known battery manufacture and it took over a week to run out. Probably about 11 to 12 hours use. The menu is reasonably easy to use, it's easy to switch between tracks and the radio, the display is sharp and clear for an LCD. Despite it's tiny size I found everything very easy to use (even with my big Homer Simpson hands!) Oh, and this white one is very, very slick. It's small and smooth and very, very light.
Downsides: Well it could be rechargeable through the PC (Hey I could buy rechargeable AAA batteries). Earphones are actually a bit uncomfortable (shocker). The manual could be a bit more helpful but it's OK as a quick start. The software that comes with the player is a bit invasive but it does tag every track nicely. Of course you don't have to use the software to use the MP3 player.

A neat little package
My first purchase of an MP3 player and I am delighted by the quality of the sound and many features which are easily accessed using the scroll wheel. Sound files are easily organised into folders. I thought 512MB (125 tracks) would be sufficient but I quickly filled the memory by ripping my favourite tracks; 1 GB would be better.
It is small (matchbox) which is convenient but the small display can be difficult to read. One AAA battery gives adequate duration but be sure to carry spares. Battery cover is a loose fit and comes off too easily. A small case with strap and holder for earphones would be a useful accessory.
