Fantastic!

Want a brill phone with EVERY possible gadget, (except 3G), then buy this phone NOW! Excellent camera (1.3Mp), 32Mg memeory card with expandable memory, viseo capture and playback, superb audio, the list goes on. Okay, so it's not a pretty flip or slide phone but it does the job better. You won't be sorry you bought it!

nokia 6230i

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Dec 5, 2005
after previously owning the nokia 6230 im very impressed with this model, has an excellent camera, very good quality - and with a zoom feature - was much missed on the previous model. This model also has a lot more storage, allowing you to use it as a storage device for a variety of files, documents and media. A very good phone!

A delight

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Feb 7, 2006
I am a long-time user of Nokia phones. The 6000 series have always been my favourite because of the completeness of functions they provide. I believe the other reviewers have already said how much they loved this phone, so please just allow me to add that I was delighted by the audio quality! I tried playing mp3 files on this phone, and I was genuinely surprised when I heard the sound. It is excellent whether you use the loudspeaker or the earphones.

Best Mobile Phone I've used. Wish they still made them !

Having had most of the Nokia phones over the past decade I was very pleased when I bought my first 6230i - better than the 6230 and as easy to use. Small and neat. The camera is good and I've even printed off the photos onto a calendar with surprisingly good results. I find the menus easier and more straightforward to use than the new gimmicky phones around at the moment. Sound quality is great and the video feature is useful and good quality too. Sturdy and robust. Pity they don't make them any longer - I've had to trawl round for a reconditioned one to replace my faulty three year old one.

Solid, dependable phone

After struggling with newer models and their awkward software, dodgy battery life and temperamental signal quality I was pleased to find this phone lasts 5 days between charges, is simple to text and can get a signal just about anywhere. Very good.
