Whilst the display was being replaced the engineer then put a screw through the video cable meaning I had to wait a further two weeks while they sourced a new one - and a further week because they broke the screen bezel putting it back together.
This machine had everything I was looking for in a laptop. Decent video RAM, card reader, widescreen, DVD writer and good price. It is a shame that build quality lets ACER down all the time. The screen hinges get so hard to move that you end up cracking the case. Mine has broken after only 12 months use. I bought two at the same time and the second is showing signs of strain.
