I recently purchased this printer and I have to say it is an absolutely oustanding product. The build is amongst the highest quality I have seen, the paper tray covers are perfect to stop the ingress of dust etc that is normal with other printers. The LCD screen is surprisingly high quality the resolution makes it very easy to see excactly what you will be printing. The menus are very simple for those technophobes out there and it is equally simple to print direct from memory cards. I have only used Epson Premium Glossy Paper for photos and I have to say the quality equals that of wet film (I use a Casio Exilim Z4 4MP) Printable DVDs are just like shop bought items and text is very high quality also. Slide/negative scans are also outstanding reproductions. I would suggest this printer for anyone wanting high quality photos as well as other print media options. Overall an amazing piece of kit, buy it or regret buying a less quality item!

Included software is very easy to use and installation was a doodle. The scanner is very good and not as noisy as I was expecting; the print quality on specialist paper is fantastic and my only gripe with previous Epson printers has been text quality - they've fixed that! On standard paper text is very sharp. Photos are clear and good colourisiation and the software has some very nice features for making prints as good as possible. I only have a 2 megapixel camera and the images produced by this printer were amazing.

The combined scanner/printer function means less messing about with the PC (it will even scan a CD/DVD and print it direct onto a printable CD/DVD with the PC turned off).

The large LCD means no more digging out a maginfying glass to see images direct from a camera/flash card either.

Overall build quality is good and it's very hard to find anything to dislike about the unit for the price.

I have just received this all-in-one as an upgrade/replacement for my tired old Lexmark. This is truly an outstanding piece of equipment - easy to set up and easy to use. Within 5 minutes of installing it I had printed an A4 sized photograph which was breathtaking in both quality and simplicity to produce. If you are about to upgrade/replace your all-in-one - buy this - but don't order the additional USB cable - it comes with one already attached.

I have replaced my Lexmark printer with the Epson RX700. I can only sing it`s praise, for me it does everything the blurb says it does. I am no expert, just an ordinary guy that knows what he wants and expects from a printer...........the Epson RX700 gives this to me.
Excellent print quality, which will give you high quality results to match or even better than photo lab pics. The printer prints direct to CD`s and again the print has to be seen.
The printer will do a lot more, which other people have said in their reviews, and I fully back up what others have said.
Don`t make the mistake of being put off with the price, and go for a cheaper model.......remember you only get what you pay for
One thing to remember you do not need to buy a USB cable when you buy this model, everything is in the box ready for easy installation. And not forgetting Amazon`s fast delivery with it, you can be up and running like myself within 3 days.........how can you fault that ?

This product really rocks. I have had the RX 700 since Oct 05.
Thw print quality is astounding no matter what brand of paper you use to print on. ( you dont have to use Epson paper to get great results)
Scanning fotos is a breeze & quality is brilliant.
Print directly to CDs or Dvds & the discs look shop bought.
If there is anything wrong with this product I cant find it.
The only downside of this unit is that it is very large in size.
I have to give this product 10 out of 10

This All In One unit is still performing great & if you look around you can get the Multipacks easily & at a much cheaper price than buying each cartridge on it's own.
