These speakers are a really really good buy - especially for the price too! I did a ridiculous amount of research and comparison shopping before finally deciding on these particular speakers (thanks to the great reviews it had received) and I must say I am really impressed. They look great (which always helps), are very portable and most importantly the sound is excellent. Although designed for the shuffle, we did try them out with my friend's IPOD and it does work - although it did look a bit silly because the headphone socket on the ipod isn't centred on the unit so it tended to lean a little (but still operated without any problem). I took them to the beach on holiday and listened to them for 3 days solid - the shuffle ran out of juice before the speakers ever did! I mainly use them at work for which they are perfect - discreet, compact, and good sound at both low and higher volumes. And when you crank up the volume for a good song, the speakers still deliver without distortion. If I had to come up with some constructive criticism, I thought I'd read in the instructions that if you plugged them into a mains that it would charge the shuffle at the same time which doesn't seem to be the case, although I might have misread that bit. The price of these has gone down since I got mine so they are now an even better deal than before! Don't bother looking elsewhere - these speakers are perfect!!

this is a really good piece of equiptment if you own a shuffle, i havent found any problems, it looks really neat and the sound quality is excelent! its incredibly easy to use and can be set up anywhere, i definetly advise it!

Great product!!!! Could not wait to try this item as with 3 watts on the speaker output it was a lot higher than other items that were slightly cheaper than this. Initially I was going to buy the slightly cheaper model to this one as that one had more reviews, however I was convinced into buying this one because the speakers had 3watts compared to 0.9watts of the other model and there is nothing more important than having good quality when listening to your favourite tunes.

I was surprised just how clear the speakers were. You can crank the volume upto a fair notch before you hear any signs of distortion to the music, which makes it perfect for travelling. Whether it be in the hotel or somewhere a little more public the station is small, compact and gives great quality.

The station also comes with a USB and a travel case so that you can take it away without scratching the casing. Whilst the station is on there is a funky blue light that really gives it a great look. You also get a charger with it that I think charges your shuffle whilst its plugged in. So you can take your charger on holiday with you and charge your shuffle whilst you have your station plugged in to the mains and then it also takes batteries if your heading to the beach etc. Until now I have taken a CD player on holiday with me so that I could have my music with me but with the station, I have no need to do that anymore as I get really great quality from something that can fit into my hand bag. I really cannot stress the sound quality of this enough. I have not tried any of the cheaper models to know if they compare but I know that at 3 watts this one is perfect for great sounding music.

Although it may be slightly bigger than cheaper models, this is still an item that only measures about 8 inches in length and about 5 inches in width and 1 in depth, so is very compact and easily transported in a small bag. Perfect!!!

I read the other reviews on here and decided to 'take the plunge' with this item. i am absolutely delighted with it - very easy to use, excellent sound quality and it charges both my wife's Ipod Shuffle and my Ipod Nano (obviously not at the same time!). One slight issue: when charging my Nano there is a loud buzzing sound if I am playing songs at the same time through the speakers. However, as I bought this primarily for my other half's Ipod Shuffle and that works excellently, it still deserves five stars. I can wholeheartedly recommend this product.
