Excellent product !
Great picture, great sound. Build quality is outstanding. A good investment when connected to a good tv and dvd player. Picture is very sharp. Colours are vibrant and precise. The best scart cable I have ever used, well worth the money !

This is the one...
Brilliant cable. It's only when you see and feel the quality of a 'proper' cable you appreciate how rubbish your old ones are!
I used this to go between my freeview box and DVD recorder as my recordings never seemed that great. I'm pleased to tell you that my recordings are significantly better after installing this cable ( my recordings are views on a 1080i upscaling DVD player, normal tele viewed via the built in freeview ) I'd award 6/5 if I could...
However - a note about delivery, I opted for 'super-saver' and it nearly took TWO WEEKS to arrive.

Very big difference
Like many people, previous to buying this cable, i was using a bog-standard Featherweight SCART cable that came bundled with my Freeview box. This budget cable yielded, shall we say, less than crisp picture or audio and a noticable static overlay which was really quite noticable close-up.
To tell the truth, I was a bit doubtful as to how much this cable might actually help, however, i decided to bite the bullet and give it a shot. In short, I am extremely glad i did! This cable is heavy, secure and very well made. It reproduces audio and video extremely well and there is no more static/interferance!
In conclusion, if you are currently using a standard plastic housed budget piece, and have a good enough/large enough TV to notice any poor video performance, then this may very well be a very smart buy.

Sound investment for your AV set-up
Anybody with a decent AV or audio set-up should invest in good quality leads to get the best out of their kit...never use the the "freebie" cables that come with these things, always pay the extra few quid for quality cables, they make a world of difference.
This "Thor" scart lead is an excellent heavy duty cable. Well constructed, made out of premium materials with lot's of shielding to cut out any RF interfearence. It will more than likely outlast your DVD/TV etc. The construction really is impressive, a quality item, highly recommended.

Good, but not great.....
I bought these cables based soley on reviews on amazon and What HiFi sound and vision. What HiFi have written that these cables' performance, that were selling at £30 at the time of the review, belied their price tag. They also won an award. So I was fully expecting to be blown away by these cables, and to be honest, I'm not.
Don't get me wrong, these cables are a big improvement over freebies any day of the week, but all the hype surrounding these cables seems to me to be a bit out of perspective. I have been using 2 pairs of cheapo, budget Argos Gold plated scarts for Cable and DVD viewing, costing less than a tenner for the pair 3 years ago. In comparison with the THOR these cables are only marginally outperformed by the THOR, so that leads me to think either those cheapo Argos cables were an awesome, underrated bargain, and or the THOR has a bit of a bloated ego.
I do have screened and braided mains cables and a mains conditioner that have collectively enabled me to squeeze every last drop of performance out of my system so it is a bit of an anti climax that these THOR cables haven't quite lived up to expectations. So I can only give this 3 stars.
