Sound quality is superb (...as you'd expect from SONY). Thoroughly recommend them. Bass unit is a bit bulky but sits under the desk with no probs. The two smaller units can be set up on either side of PC - good length cables and aux volume / bass control unit is simplicity itself and looks stylish. A def buy!
Great value and great sound

Very good quality deep bass from the woofer. The small main speakers kick out a punch and don't top out until the volume is almost at max. By then if you're close enough your ears will hurt so you don't need to go that high. A great purchase and well recommended.

Great add on to TV.
(5 out of 5) by Dianne Miller on Jun 26, 2009 (Kent, England.)Recently purchased Sony Bravia TV but was disappointed with sound quality as speakers within set only 15 watt.Ordered these speakers and was initially puzzled as to how to connect to TV.Eventually found that the TV jack plug on speaker system simply goes into the socket for headphones on TV and bingo excellent sound. Volume on TV reduced by a third. Great value and delivered in less than 24 hrs.Very impressed.

not for the faint- hearted

Allan on May 31, 2009 (london)Sony SRSD211.CEK 2.1 35W PC SpeakersThe item is smart, all the lights come on - but unfortunatly this has been sold to a "muppet" ie me - who as usual needs clearer instructions. These instructions are for those bright creatures who have no problems what so-ever on the technical side of life, and are problem sniggering as I type, however it is a great product, smart to look at and I bet the sound is great, eventually

-Loud, I only ever have them at quarter of the volume.
-Nice sub woofer
-Clear sound
-Easy to set up
-Look very stylish
-Headphone socket
-Comes with control unit, so you dont have to mess around on your computer to change the volume.
Con:
-Control unit is small, and takes a while to get used to if you have big hands.
-Recently, I have noticed that using a mobile phone near them causes ALOT of interference!
-Loud, I only ever have them at quarter of the volume.
