A friend of mine had bought these for his computer but was also using it to play his mp3 player on. I had been looking into buying an ipod hi-fi or bose sound dock but the cost was too much. Granted they're a lot neater and more powerful but these are a fantastic alternative. The bass is powerful enough to make my dog leave the room and no doubt annoys the neighbours, I also had a party with them, the volume was loud enough to get everyone up and dancing. Buying from amazon also saves you about £20 compared to certain high street shops selling them. These are fantastic quality, I strongly recommend them if like me your purse strings are a little too tight for the more expensive alternatives

I had initially bought the £25 Sony speakers. THey were decent but there were a few songs where the need to reduce the bass was critical to getting a decent sound at a decent volume.

So I bought these for an extra tenner and I definitely think they were good value for money. It is great being able to easily adjust the volume and importantly, the bass.

The speakers also look very smart (not cheesy).

With 35W you will be struggling to HAVING to play them at full volume.

Also they are easy to set-up.

And to top it all, you have Sony as a brand and quality. Speaking of which, I was impressed with the quality of the packaging, let alone the actual product! The plastic used is solid and not tacky or cheap at all.

I got these funky speakers to pump up my music and beef up my games. It certainly does that, the bass unit is quite chunky but have put that under my desk (right next to the wall of my grumpy next door neighbour)

The 2 "main" speakers are cute little tweeter style things which take up hardly any space at all but sound does not seem to be lost
and they can be wall mounted but am leaving the drilling of holes until Mr Grumpy balls is in.

If you want good sound and a great price and are a bit tight for room especially if you are a messy guy like me then I can recomend these speakers.

I bought this 2.1 set up mostly for video playback on my PS3, to improve the sound from the tv speakers. It is plugged into the headphone jack of the tv and works a treat. the bass has plenty of adjustment so you can set it at your desired level. videos sound much better with the added bass, and games are much improved too. However these speakers sound awesome for playing music, especially considering thier small size.

In all decent value for money!

Very easy to set up, powerful bass. A bit weak on mid tones but for the price the sound is very good.
