Excellent Speakers
(5 out of 5) by M. Stone on Jan 7, 2008I used to own some Logitech pc speaker which did a good job however I found the bass far too over powering even on the lowest setting. These Sony speakers really do sound fantastic, look great and the bass can be fully controlled!. I've used them for pc games, watching films and listening to muisc without any problems. So if you're looking for some great sounding speakers that look the part and that don't break the bank look no further. My only slight niggle with the Sony speakers is that the wired "remote pod thingy" is hard wired to the subwoofer.

Great add on to TV.
(5 out of 5) by Dianne Miller on Jun 26, 2009 (Kent, England.)Recently purchased Sony Bravia TV but was disappointed with sound quality as speakers within set only 15 watt.Ordered these speakers and was initially puzzled as to how to connect to TV.Eventually found that the TV jack plug on speaker system simply goes into the socket for headphones on TV and bingo excellent sound. Volume on TV reduced by a third. Great value and delivered in less than 24 hrs.Very impressed.

Pros:
They look fantastic.
Cons:
The sound is dissapointing (my entry level Altec's are better) as the satellites need to be pointed right at you for anywhere near decent sound. It seems it's missing all the mid-range and sounds very hollow.
If your mobile phone rings when these are on they go mad with interference! I thought these were supposed to be insulated?
Despite the stunning looks im afraid these will be going back.

Great Speakers!

Wood on Nov 29, 2008 (yorkshire)Wow, what can i say these speakers are top notch.The price is very good for these speakers and they sound great.They look very nice on my desk and they have a very useful volume control were i can put in my mp3 player or headphones without reaching under my desk.I gave these speakers 5 because they sound brilliant look brilliant and since there sony well built and reliable.

Excellent sound and value for money
