Top brand -- Top quality
These are selling at nearly £60 in a well known outlet and are worth the money even at that so at Amazons price you wont be dissapointed.I set them up in 5 minutes and was well impressed with the sound quality.I'm not going to turn the volume up to full because I don't want to upset all the neighbours and to be honest even on half volume the sound is amazing.Fantastic value--buy them.

Loads of power and clarity
Set-up of these retro-styled speakers is easy - the rather obtrusive bass unit goes under your PC desk and plugs into the mains, while the little chrome-trimmed satellite speakers go each side of your screen. Printed intructions tell you where the cables go, so in a few minutes you will be switched on -- and probably very pleased. The control unit is a separate device and mine sits on top of my PC tower. The cable that plugs into the pale green sound socket of your PC comes out of this. You need this unit to hand as the bass boost and volume controls are on it, as well as a headphone socket and a 3.5 mm sound input so you can plug in an MP3 player. Everything looks solid and durable.
At low volumes you might want to turn up the bass boost a bit, and as for high volumes -- they're HIGH. There is tons of undistorted power. The satellite speakers produce a sharp, emphasised treble. I've enjoyed rock, classical, and speech playback, and I am very happy with the value for money. It is well worth experimenting with the graphic equaliser in Windows Media Player or in iTunes to adjust the sound to your liking.

For the price, perfect
Have these in my bedroom as substitute speakers for my 22" LG flat screen since the telly suffers from a bad case of great picture but rubbish sound. The difference is remarkable. In the absence of a full surround system in my room (which no man over 25 in a relationship could ever get away with) the sound is spot on. Bass is rich, sound is detailed and the design of the speakers discrete. They also have a second input to stick the mp3 player in to as well. Money well spent. Only the lack of a remote option stops me from giving them five stars. Sound alone? 5.

excellent
I tried out 3 sets of speakers the Creative GigaWorks T40, Logitech Z-2300 and these Sony's. I was expecting these to be the weakest of the bunch as they were half the price of the rest but how wrong was I. Out of the 3 these won for me on sound quality being the best balanced and cleanest sound of the 3 and at half the price! What a bargain these speakers are and are highly recommended.

Excellent Sound Quality and Value!
These speakers really look the part and (fortunately) they sound the part too! There's not really much else I can say about them; I highly recommend them they are well worth the money. I have surround sound speakers that cost four times as much and don't sound (or look) as good. My only complaint is that they were out of stock when I ordered and it took me nearly three months to get them, but it was well worth the wait!
