Not Bad but does not work with all iPods
This is a good product with great sound, however it wont charge the new iPod - iPod Touch 2G, iPod Nano 4G, iPod Classic 120GB. The older iPods are fine

Very robust, surprisingly good quality
I have used this system for the past two years on what you might call a "building site". It is now splattered with paint and plaster but has never once failed to deliver - although admittedly it can't quite keep pace with the angle grinder or belt sander as a backing track. I am very impressed with the quality of this little system which - as others have pointed out - is no bigger than a paper-back. It can deliver volume without distortion (within sensible limits) and good bass response albeit not quite so good at low volume. Above all it has withstood some pretty bad treatment but is as good as new. From the point of view of portability it would be hard to beat. Good product !

for the size, surprisingly capable
bought this item to take abroad and was delighted with the extra clip on adapters for the plug I would imagine by the six or so adapters(that come with this), you could play these speakers in most places around the world.
Sound wise?,,,very good! in fact excellent for speakers that are no bigger than a paperback good tone and reasonable bass, I would think that in order to get a slightly deeper richer sound then you would perhaps need to go larger, however for sheer size and portability I would recommend them to anyone.
Slightly pricey but hey!....Bose speakers and dock will set you back around £250
