Best Value For Money You Can Find

This computer has everything you could want from a laptop and more. The processor speed is more than able of handling anything you can throw at it and 512MB RAM means that there's very little problems with the computer slowing down while running multiple applications. The 40Gb hard drive has room enough to store all that rubbish that we all build up over time, though I found that if you need more space the high speed USB ports make the use of external USB hard drives quick and easy.

The wireless networking is solid and easy to connect to many of the common wireless network routers. I personally use a Belkin 54g wireless modem/router and found connecting quick and easy. The connection wizard in Windows XP even makes setting up the encryption between the PC and Router simple enough.

The screen on this computer has to be the crowning feature. It provides strong vibrant colour and excellent picture quality. I was most impressed that unlike many laptops, when the screen is viewed from an angle there is no loss in picture clarity or colour.

The combined CD and DVD rewriter drive is quick and easy to use with the software pre-installed on the PC. The CD drive on my PC gets some heavy use as I've used it do put my entire CD collection onto my IPod... The hight speed USB port makes transferring the music from the PC to the IPod so quick.

The software that come with the computer covers most scenarios. The Works software fulfills all the home/office needs and the pre-installed Norton Security Suite is very efficient in blocking annoying pop ups and viruses. The only let down was that the Norton subscription was only for 3 months. I was very upset that I had to shell out £35 last week for another years cover... the price of security!

I have to admit that this PC isn't the smallest of the VAIO range. It's pretty heavy too but if you're looking for something with great performance rather than a nice little ornament to put in your handbag (No sexist meaning there.... I hear men's handbags are very trendy) it's the one for you.

I love this laptop.... there's not been a single disappointment. At the time of writing this review I'm sat in my garden drinking a beer and enjoying the sunshine... thank God for wireless networking!
