Sensational Car System from Sony
(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jul 2, 2005Firstly the picture shown here isn't the F7750S - this picture is the next model up. The F7750S has a brushed aluminium facia and is better looking than this.
I have installed this in a new Vectra C - the Vauxhall stereo was loud and full of bass but was dull at the top end. The difference is stunning. There are 7 pre set EQ settings and a loudness boost that blows the doors off even at low volumes. The radio and CD sound superb with the Vauxhall speakers and if you buy the right connector then the steering wheel controls will operate most modes. The display is very attractive and can be fixed or cycles through a range of styles including car chase movie mode - nice! MP3 sounds as good as CD and the tuner is virtually as good - the unit is incredibly powerful and having a remote is a nice touch for setting it all up. Sony build quality and design make this a very good package - I was reluctant to rip the built in unit out of the Vectra - I'm very glad I did and fitting it was a doddle once the old unit finally came out. Highly recommended.
