Large lcd display and small size overall makes this an ideal holiday camera.On the downside you have to buy a bigger memory stick if you want to take high resolution pics and video and also a camera case (to stop that large lcd from being scratched!) but all in all I am very happy with my purchase and would'nt change it for any other camera!

stylish and handy

All in all, It's really easy to use, the menu leads you very clearly. What I appreciated is the big LCD screen that illustrates what you actually see in the best possible way. I chose the auto function as I am a bit of an amateur but the result is beyond expectations. One slight defect is that if you want to add special effects you must do it beforehand and not process the photo after being taken- and at this point I'm jealous of my friend's canon ixus! But I really don't regret it as I'm happy holding it in my hands as I find it very posh!
