Brilliant speakers

Sound is of a very high quality and very loud considering it's less than 100 watts. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a very good quality sound system at such a good price. Build quality is very good and the wires are fairly long though if you have a large room you will need to buy extensions. Go out and buy one now, it's great.

5.1 sound surround set

I came to amazon looking for a 5.1 sound surround set but had a low budget, I thought that the set i would get for £50 would give a sound but not do to well under pressure and not give a clear sound. I bought these and I got ALOT more than I was expecting, they work really well, very easy to set up as they are all colour coded and the subwoofer really packs a punch. They work great and give a clear, pure sound turned down low and up full. This is a very good kit and brings all your games,(works on xbox ps2 and gamecube aswell) music and DVD's to life.
Overall if you are one of those people who expect to have an very decent set for a low budget THIS IS FOR YOU!!

WOW!!!!!

So I thought I would buy this because of the recommendations it has from previous buyers.... and I just say... O.M.G. The sound is superb. I've had my iPod (needs extra leads that I have myself) hooked up to it for hours listening to the Metal Gear OST's, Pirates of the Caribbean OST's... and the sound you get from the speakers is just amazing. A DEFENIT BUY!!
Ordered it at 10:30 AM on friday the 27th OCT.... recieved it at 8:30 on Saturday the 28th... only 22 hours to get here (Special Delivery of course) but amazing none the less..

Will suit ALL your needs...

One thing that I must clarify from the start, and that I found a little confusing is that these speakers will work with MOST standard sound cards, and the 5.1 sound card is only required for the SURROUND SOUND aspect. Which means, very simply, that the main sub-woofer and two of the smaller speakers will work and three of the smaller ones won't. But, I hasten to add, the sub-woofer will rival any DJ speaker you have ever heard, and three speakers is more than enough to have the police knocking on your door for disturbing the peace! :-) Very cool!
As the previous reviewers stated, quite correctly, you can feel the sound from right across the room, and you will fill the largest living room with fantastic crystal clear sound! The main sub-woofer can be controlled independantly so the bass strength can be adjusted with a turn of a knob on the back (in the case of different quality of recordings being played.)
Yes, headphones will now plug into the speaker and not in your CPU, and yes, perhaps the wires are a little short for large rooms, but good grief: £40 for the sub-woofer is worth it ALONE, and I honestly cannot find anything wrong with this product. I have put my money into it, and I will gladly put my opinion behind it. Have no fear: you'll think you've died and gone to heaven!
