Brilliant, I'm so pleased with them I gonna get another set, they are so versitile. Some reviews said that they were very heavy on the base but I found them perfect and the base is easily tuned down. They look fantastic too.

Couldn't be happier with these though, Everything i've ever wanted music wise. The high range, mid range AND bass are seperated beautifully and give VERY good quality sound out. Crisp treble and a warm bass make these the best and most affordable out there. There so good, they've impressed both my brother and father who are fellow musicians that have a keen ear on sound quality... if it approves for them, it should approve for anyone! Therefore I recommend these speakers to anyone and everyone out there whos looking for some quality sound for an extremely cheap price tag!

Some would complain about the base but i mainly keep it on low and it doesn't cause vibrations throughout my whole room. i used mainly for my Advent laptop which refused to play DVDs loud but anything i viewed or listened to online was. Ordered it on the Wednesday and it came on the monday (would have been saturday i guess if not for the fact that i was at uni and the post office closes for the weekend). There is no installation disc etc and set up can be done within a couple of minutes.
For the price and the quality this is excellent value and like the other reviews, buy it, don't even bother looking at other sound systems.

An excellent 2.1 speaker system
(5 out of 5) by C. Burlison-rush on Jan 2, 2008This is an excellent 2.1 speaker system that is well made and looks good too. For a speaker set of this size it packs a punch as well. It has a seperate control knob for adjusting the base on the sub.
Just remember to tweak the settings in Windows if you can to fine tune the volume, bass and treble and you will get excellent sound reproduction for a speaker system for the price.

I BOUGHT SOME FLAT SPEAKERS FROM MAPLINS AND TOOK THEM BACK BECAUSE OF A FAULT, THANK GOD I DID BECAUSE THE DIFFERENCE IN SOUND IS AMAZING. PLENTY OF BASS, ALL THE TINGS AND PINGS CAN BE HEARD. TRY PLAYING "FOR YOUR BABIES" BY SIMPLY RED, ITS SOUNDS ACE ( AND IM NOT A BIG FAN EITHER!). I PUT THE SUB UNDER MY COMPUTER TABLE AND THE OTHER TWO SPEAKERS ON MY DESK. WELL WORTH THE MONEY. SHAME I DIDNT BUY THEM FROM AMAZON, I COULD HAVE SAVED TEN POUNDS !!!!! JUST BUY THEM.
