Check the Vendor's Description

When ordering it, there was no warning of any such deficiencies on the web page, so I just clicked "Add to Basket", thinking it would meet basic customer expectations. The picture shown was of a boxed cartridge (which would have shown an expiry date).
The cartridge delivered was unboxed, but in a "sealed" wrapper, and past its expiry date. This can be determined from a date of manufacture printed on the plastic "seal" - from other cartridges it seems that the expiry date is normally 2 years from the production date.
The vendor claims that was in the description - the only way of seeing that that I know of is to click on the link for "nn used and new" and you'll see each vendor's description of their offering. In future, I'll certainly do that, and print the description (as it may be different when you receive the goods!)
