Wonderful !

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jan 3, 2006
Having been disappointed with the "Digital"look and clipped highlights with both the EOS 10D and Nikon D70 i had owned and basically having gone back to film i kept noticing good reviews for this camera.I always take magazine reviews with a pinch of salt they are so subjective.Being a Nikon film user and having some decent lenses i decided to take a chance. The F90 is now i am sorry to say gathering dust! This really does do thejob. The images iam getting are the best i have ever achieved with a digital camera, full of tones and great colours. Not for sport or action but the idealtool for everything else!

Excellent Kit

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Dec 22, 2005
The S3Pro is one of the nicest digital SLRs I have had the pleasure to use. Easy operation, fantastic imaging at 12m pixels and a breeze to get images to PC with bundled software. More photography less time messing with image transfer.

At this price, there nothing to match it!!

I could not wait to take a look at the when it first came out in 2004, but I could not justify the £1800 price tag with being a now and then amateur photograph, so I decided to stay with my Nikon F80 and continue to use Fuji Velvia and Reala film. Now the prices have been reduced substantially, I snapped one up straight away and have not looked back since. The photographs it takes are tonally as good as my F80/Reala combination and the colour saturation I believe is second to none. It also has the added advantage of having two custom modes that give similar effects to both Fuji film combinations that I had been use to.

Finally, if you are an F80 user and want to go digital or you are a Nikon film user and want to make the best use of your lenses, there is no better camera at this price.
