Great Projection Alarm clock at reasonable price

(5 out of 5) by Review Master on Oct 18, 2008 (UK)
I was very impressed by this little alarm clock. It looks brilliant and the built in speaker in very loud and clear for anything of this size.

The projection is strong and clear and can be flipped if you like to bounce it off a mirror. You can adjust the angle to make the projection bigger or smaller and it even has a focus switch so you can make the projection crystal clear.

I like the way you can set your alarm volume (and station) for the morning but the best thing is the keylock so when I'm fumbling around in the morning I can't adjust the time or mess up any of the alarm setting (it has 2)

Not bad but

(3 out of 5) by Adrian Wroth on Aug 14, 2008 (uk)
A Good clock radio, the sound is not bad for a unit this price and size. The projection is pretty good as long as you don't try and project it too far away. Setting it though is annoying, it has two alarms which is great but a bit of a faff having to select them on the side. you usually end up changing the time by mistake, also when you switch the alarm off with the button at the front you either knock the thing over or end up pressing the snooze button while trying to hold it. A little more thought and it would be a really good product, but it is let down by poor user interface.

Ok but limited if used with batteries

(3 out of 5) by S. Heer on Apr 25, 2008 (UK)
The clock has a cool design and has plenty of features including clock projection. The problem is if you need to use the clock with batteries rather than plug. The clock takes 4 batteries however there is no continous projection. On top of that, there is no backlight with batteries which means you can only read the time during the daytime, even then its not very bright! If you want to use batteries look elsewhere.

Philips AJ3600 Projection Radio Alarm Clock

(3 out of 5) by W. Eden on Jan 19, 2008 (UK)
A good product. The projected image can be rotated and flipped, which means you can use this product in lots of ways. The radio is better than you'd expect for a clock of this size and price. Mr criticisms are the flashing colon between the figures in the projected display (a static colon would be more relaxing) and the fact that the clock face needs to be viewed from quite a limited range of angles to be readable.

A bit disappointing

(3 out of 5) by P. Harvey on Jan 13, 2006 (Sydney, Australia)
I would have thought it would sound better, being the size it is, and Philips etc.

I also found a lot of the buttons in the wrong place. The User Interface was not fully thought through.
