Buying this top quality Sony LCD TV at under £1000 is the equivalent of buying a one year old Rolls Royce at half price. When new in early 2005 it cost just over £2000 and was worth it. Technology moves quickly these days and prices tend to halve every twelve to eighteen months depending on how many new models are released. I have owned this Sony LCD TV for about a year and can highly recommend it. Having looked at the replacement Bravia LCD TV's I really can't see the difference in picture quality (I would give both models 10/10 ).
