I was looking for a basic clock radio alarm to replace my Sony dream machine that started playing up after only few months. I already have an old Panasonic clock radio alarm in the other bedroom which I have had since the eighties and is still going strong so I thought I would go for a Panasonic one again. When it arrived I immediatly tested it out and was very pleased to find out that it has the same clear sound and radio reception as my old Panasonic. It has the usual basic features sleep, doze, wake up to radio or radio / alarm. It also has a dim / brightness switch for the clock and battery back up for the clock / alarm settings in case of power failure. It is also very easy to set and operate. I did have some trouble tracking down this Panasonic model as Amazon did'nt have it in stock, I finally managed to get one from sound and vision. If this one keeps on going like my good old trusty Panasonic RC-6064 it will have been well worth the effort getting hold of it. To sum up the Panasonic rc 6266 is a great little basic clock radio alarm.

This product does exactly what its supposed to, rather boring to look at but otherwise can not complain at all. My 13 year old set it up for herself & she is quite happy with it.
