Easy to use with useful voltage monitoring software and excellent auto-shut down. Gives you about 20 minutes or more (depending on how power hungry your monitor and PC are) of use after power-failure. Excellent piece of insurance for those who live / work in developing countries or who are otherwise reliant on dodgy power supplies!
Note: you should not try and run scanners and laser printers off the battery when the power is down - they draw too great a current.
Seems better value for money than the 1200VA model, which is a little more powerful and I suspect is otherwise equally good.

Had this for a year now. This is a good UPS which does exactly what it says on the box. Only prob is that my pc is so power hungry that I only get five miniutes to shut down. However it enables you to save the work you are doing or to cancel scans etc. So far thou i have not had to rely on it.

i live in an area that has lots of brown outs and black outs. they dont last long but have caused damage to my pc. got this belkin ups as i like their gear and trust it. performs well and is well made. usefull having the serial/usb port as it enables one to monitor loads of diff stuff

I have used Belkin for many years and never been unhappy. I bought this UPS to replace the old one which was 10 years old and past its best.
There were no problems installing this one.
