I have had this watch for 5 years and have some good use out of it. So in that sense it has been very good. I have worn it swimming, on holiday and when working on the Railway so it has had some good knocks I suppose. However the screen did break in the end. The glass on the front didn't crack, something just went wrong the the LCD screen and it now only shows half the time. It's a real pity as it was my favourite watch.

I've had my `Casio G-2900F-1VER' (although the blue version of this watch) for many years now and it's as reliable now as when I first bought it. It has a solid, rubber strap and the now classic G-Shock casing that resists bangs and impact with ease. This watch has all the features I need for my leisure activities, like a chronograph, 200 metres water resistance, strong back light, world time and alarm functions, as well as an email address setting that I use less. This comes with a ten year battery and when the watch is so cheap this makes for a significant bargain over the years. This is an inexpensive, sturdy and supremely functional watch and well worth considering.

I bought one of these in 2004.
After 600 dives and constant wear I lost it dekitting in August.
So I bought another as it never let me down and is comfortable to wear
