Made PC much nicer to use

(5 out of 5) by Ed on Jan 3, 2006 (London United Kingdom)
I have a 1.4Ghz PC with 256MB RAM and the general navigation was getting pretty slow and it was becoming quite frustrating to use at times.

After having upgraded to 768MB RAM the machine is now alot faster in all areas, (ie loading applications, general navigation, Using graphics/sound intensive programs) and I would definitely recommend it for anyone considering it.

It only took 2 mins to install - just unclip the cover plug it in and away you go.

I dont really know if there are any differences between Bytestor and any other makes of RAM, but they all seem to be roughly the same price and as far as I can tell this is as good as any other.

Mac much faster

(5 out of 5) by Ben on Jan 27, 2007
I installed this 512 mb ram on my 1.42Ghz eMac. I already had 256mb so this boosted it to 768mb. It was getting slow so I decided to upgrade it.

The difference was amazing. I don't think there would be much difference between Bytesor and other makes but it does the job. The overall speed of Mac OS X 10 was a lot faster and I also noticed a better game play - no stuttering.

This is the easiest way to speed up your Mac or PC and I would recommend it!

Well, it works

The name ByteStor didn't really ring a bell, so I just went for the price (yeah, I know, I am a bit tight).
It's been working for about a month in my PC without any slightest problem.
I would say, a good value for money.

Upgrading Dell Dimension 4550.

(5 out of 5) by Mr. B. P. Jordan on Jul 16, 2009 (Gloucester, UK.)
The ordered memory worked first time in my Dell Dimension 4550 desktop computer. I was upgrading the ram from 512Mbytes to 1 Gbyte. No problems.

Excellent value for an excellent product

(5 out of 5) by S. Yong on Oct 31, 2008
I was a bit sceptical about ordering this RAM because it's not Kingston or something with a big brand. But it turned out to be just fine. I have been using it for about a couple of months now and it works perfectly fine. Highly recommended for its value and quality.
