Great Value

If you have the ei system 4431 this the product you want. easy to fit only takes 5-10mins. On the bottom of the laptop remove the battery, there's a cover next to where the battery goes with approx 9 screws, remove cover and click in memory. works a treat.

Amazing Value!!

Godd value for the money

I will say they have made a big improvement to the speed my laptop was running at. Both sticks were sent seperately and arrived within 2 days of ordering. Very easy to install in the Dell, one small screw to open the panel and they just clip into place.

Value for money RAM

Newton on Apr 26, 2008 (Nottingham, U.K.)Ordered 2 stick of the RAM (1024mb) for my aging laptop which seemed to be getting slower by the minute with only 2 sticks of 256mb, once installed (which required the laptop in question(e-machines 5116) to be dismantled and re-assembled) it brought the computer back to life again. I can now rip/write CD/DVD's whilst browsing the net, a task that was impossible before.
Great value for money, that will make a hell of a difference to laptops with limited memory and age against them, get in quick because this type of memory will not be around for much longer!!

Well it works!
(4 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Feb 24, 2006What can you say about computer memory - it's boring. It's only great when in use and your computer becomes more responsive. This was a competitive price and I'd like to give it 5 stars but I can't because it clearly states here that fitting instructions are included - partly the reason I ordered it - and they weren't.
Heads up - on laptops, memory is often behind the keyboard and it is a complete pain to change. Give yourself anything up to an hour if it chooses to be stubborn to pry loose and take care once free as there are wires you don't want to break. So, 55 minutes getting the keyboard out and putting it back, less than a minute or two or change the memory and you might just about have time to make a cup of tea before the hour is up. Saying that it's not 'difficult', but you do need to be patient. Still, I was annoyed that it came without instructions and I had to find out all this information for myself.
