i wanted a mini-disc player for ages - they seemed brilliant - much smaller than cd players and you can fit more music on them.

this one seemed brilliant - a radio and hi-md even more music.

but it turns out that it actually doesnt have a radio. believe me. although amazon may say it does and the photos - this minidisc player does not have a radio. the instruction manual is about as understandable as a tony blair speech (not alot) ands of course, this is only my opinion, but like tony blair it promises much and delivers little.

it looks quite good but its not thought out - the features and buttons arent thought out. the software is swish but there are little directions as to how to use it. im dissapointed

i wish id brought an i-pod.

Agree Hi MD is really good but dont agree that a clip on battery box is any good. The Sony nh700 use one lr6 battery (cheap and light) and lasts ages. Sony needs to think again about adding a clip on box its flimsy and is too much trouble.
