(4 out of 5)WOW- if you dont get your hands on this baby your nuts!!
I looked at a lot of CD players before buying the Sony D-NE800w and i thought it was beutiful. when u see it in the picture imust say it looks musch bewtetr when u hold it in your hands and feel how light and beutiful it is.
It came packaged very safely within two days with everything you need including a mains adapter/charger, ear phones, rechargable batteries and the software for ATRAC3/ATRAC3PLUS.
The ATRAC system is fantastic and very easy to use.
The only negative points about the D-NE800w are the ear phones which are just terrible, whcih is not suprising. but try geting a good pair like the MDR-ED21LP.

The Sony D-NE800W ATRAC/MP3 CD Walkman is Amazing, being able to store over 30 albums onto one disk and play it on this MP3 player is just amazing. The Sony D-NE800W ATRAC/MP3 CD Walkman provides great sound quility and can go very loud. As for the delivery from amazon... well they told me it was going to take 4-5 days to deliver and only took 2 days to get here!!!! talk about great service

The service from Amazon never ceases to amaze me. I order things for birthdays or just myself usually late with not a hope of getting it delivered on time but Amazon always manage to get it to me well under the estimated time and thats the free one. This CD player is a case in point 2 days to arrive using the free delivery. It was beautifully packaged and in perfect condition. I am now really enjoying its good looks, long battery life, slip mains unit and lovely remote and brilliant system of downloading all my CD's onto just a couple to take away. You will not be disappointed.

I've had my sony walkwan for 2 years. The one that i have doesn't play mp3 cds but oh well. I really love the bass on a sony, it sounds just right. I've got an ipod now (by the way that's a better option.) But if you wanna listen to cds this is the one for you.

I got this cd walkman 8 months ago and I haven't been dissapointed yet. A friend of mine was so impressed that he got the same portable, he dropped his lots of times, I am talking dropped from a fridge onto a concrete floor. And . . . well nothing really, it still works perfectly! The battery life is great, easy charging with the cradle, the earphones that are supplied are ok, but they tend to fall out so i would recommend getting a better pair.
definetely a good buy!
