archos multimedia is the future for portable entertainment
(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jan 22, 2004the archos multimedia jukebox 10gb is value for money, it may be dated compared to the latest version, but i feel the majority of appreciaters of these devices cannot afford the latest at £299, the latest carries a 20gb hard drive which would be better for the more financially better off. but with 10gb of data you could easily store your favouriate movie or comedy episode. The only disappointment to the product is that you cannot rip a dvd on to the jukebox without using alternative illegal software. in the future times it would be well worth being able to do this freely or at low cost in public places easily, hopefully with a smaller device.
The product is value for money and provides entertainment as well as storing a wide selection of your cd's

Oh yeah the battery life is a bit of a drag 7-8 hrs
