Budget discs that rival the top brands.

(5 out of 5) by H. Gilbertson on Apr 24, 2004 (England)
We go through loads of discs and these are the best and the cheapest we'vefound. I reckon in a test they would be as good as any top brand. Not onedud in 100 spindle, and in a lovely purple colour too. (Sorry but I lovepurple). Ive searched all over looking for cheap discs and these are thecheapest, specially if you buy something else at the same time to make useof the free postage offer, I use it as an excuse to buy a dvd as well, butyou could just buy 2 packs of discs. Amazon delivery is always fast, andthe items are very well packed. 5 out of 5.

Benq CDR rule the cheap skate world

(4 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Feb 28, 2004
I bought 3 boxes of these because I couldn't find 100 cdr disks elsewhere. They burn great.

I've not given them 5 stars because I had to find a way to store the disks once used, ie. no spindle came with them.

I bought these when they were advertised as being half price, seems like they're still selling at the same price.

Burning Tip

(3 out of 5) by Vernominon on Feb 16, 2004 (England)
I found with my LG writer that i had to re-insert the disc on occasions to get it to write. If i'd found this out at the start i'd have had no coasters.
When you go to burn in Nero sometimes it'd read the disc as having a max speed of 4x in the "Burn Compilation" dialogue, and if i burned the disc wasn't readable. Ejecting and re-inserting until nero read it as 12x (my max speed) worked fine.
Just make sure you click "Burn Compilation" after you've inserted the CD to show the speed.

Brilliant Offer

Got these a few weeks ago but my Computer CD Writer had been playing up so I didn't get a chance to use them. I have now got a new Compuer with a new CD Writer in, and all I can say is that out of 50 CD's so far, I have not had a single problem with them. They work out at about 18p each after delivery. The only bad thing I cansay about them is that It is hard to make out what it is when you write on the label qhat is on it. This is easy rectififed though if you have a label machine. All in all, a sound buy.

Good value despite some errors

(3 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Feb 6, 2004
These cds are great value for moneuy, but I have come across some errors while writing the cds at the Max rated 48x. Two of the first fifteen I have written to at this speed reported back errors when trying to read the data off them. My advice is to write to these cds at a max of 32x and to be honest your not going to see much of an increase in time taken writing at this slower speed. If you wish to make master copies of your really vital data, I would buy a more well known brand. All in all, for your day to day use like the transfering of data from one machine to another, these are a good buy.
