Good value despite some errors

These cds are great value for moneuy, but I have come across some errors while writing the cds at the Max rated 48x. Two of the first fifteen I have written to at this speed reported back errors when trying to read the data off them. My advice is to write to these cds at a max of 32x and to be honest your not going to see much of an increase in time taken writing at this slower speed. If you wish to make master copies of your really vital data, I would buy a more well known brand. All in all, for your day to day use like the transfering of data from one machine to another, these are a good buy.

Sorry but I had a high failure rate on burning on these (about 20% failed on a normal burn)
When I went back to Sony Imation CD's I never got a problem.
Also they scratch really easy and I recommend you stick to a more well known brand.

What a bargain!!! These high quality cd-r's are just as good as the brand names like 'Sony & Maxell' but without the high price tag. Though I will only give it 4 stars because they dont come with the spindle as advertised, otherwise I would recommend these to anyone.

The glossy surface of these disks prevents you from writing details easily onto them with a felt tip pen. Avoid unless you don't want to do this.
