These must be the cheapest CDRs on the planet. They're great value for money and are good for recording MP3 CDs to take around with you or just making back-up CDs for music in the car. Even if you were to get a 20% failure rate, which I doubt, these are still cheaper than anything else around.

Sorry but I had a high failure rate on burning on these (about 20% failed on a normal burn)

When I went back to Sony Imation CD's I never got a problem.

Also they scratch really easy and I recommend you stick to a more well known brand.

Generally, I've been experiencing poor compatibility and poor recording success rates. With no other cheap, bulk media have I had this level of errors. Nothing has changed in my set-up, apart from the media so this is the only thing that could cause the discs not to play in a number of machines.

Additionally, although certified to a high write speed - it would appear that they can't reliably cope with this speed.

Spend a few extra pounds and get a better, more reliable brand.

I am currently about 10 CDs into this pack and have had 2 CDs which didn't burn properly. I have discovered that by reducing the burn speed to 16x I have been able to avoid further write errors.

These CDs dont come with jewel cases and have a terrible top surface leaving you very little room to write a label on. But at this price I think these are only minor grumbles.

When I run out of blank CDs I would probably buy these again.
