Be Careful

(1 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Mar 17, 2004
I have been using IMATION spindles (excellent, coaster-free burning), but I thought I would give the cheaper BenQ disks a try. A big mistake.

They come 'shrink wrapped' in the box (no spindle), and in wrapping them the whole stack has become warped making them completely unusable.

From other reviews, this might be an infrequent problem, but be warned.

Excellent for data storage

(4 out of 5) by Mr Kratong D Seaman on Jan 21, 2004 (Isleworth, Middlesex United Kingdom)
Good quality CD's though could do without the ugly print on the face. Can't really grumble too much as they are very cheap and are of good quality - fast too. I have seen cheaper (slightly), but the quality isn't as good or you have to buy a 1000+. Only four stars for the aesthetics, otherwise a bargin for the price, quality, and speed!

Excellent Media

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Dec 25, 2003
This is by far the cheapest cdrs i have ever seen, and the quality and speed is excellent. Although some reviewers say a spindle was advertised, i didn't see a spindle pack advertised.

FAULTLESS

(5 out of 5) by K. Tukhoo on Mar 14, 2004 (London UK)
This is the best Cd-R pack i've come across, it has an excellent price, with a decent writing speed , and so far i haven't had one which has been faulty.

Good value despite some errors

(3 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Feb 6, 2004
These cds are great value for moneuy, but I have come across some errors while writing the cds at the Max rated 48x. Two of the first fifteen I have written to at this speed reported back errors when trying to read the data off them. My advice is to write to these cds at a max of 32x and to be honest your not going to see much of an increase in time taken writing at this slower speed. If you wish to make master copies of your really vital data, I would buy a more well known brand. All in all, for your day to day use like the transfering of data from one machine to another, these are a good buy.
