BLACK AND WHITE - WHY!?
(1 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jan 14, 2006I didn't even want to give this player one star because, frankly, it is utter rubbish. It plays DVDs in black and white on any TV that isn't a brand new Sony, but displays the menus in perfect colour.
THIS MAKES NO SENSE!
It was total disappointment and a waste of my time and money. I now have the choice of sending it back or buying a new TV.

Easy to set up and plays a range of formats. Importantly it plays DVD-R which is the main reason why I bought the product.
Just hope its trouble free for the next couple of years until the next upgrade. For now, thumbs up!
