Buy It Now!

(5 out of 5) by T. Surman on Jan 24, 2004 (Birmingham UK)
I had a £50 Cyberhome player from WHSmiths but it blew up whilst I was watching a DVD.

I thought I'd have to save for ages to get a good quality player but I remembered Amazon did multi-regional players, so I checked and the result is I got a TOP NAME BRAND that plays ANY DISC YOU CAN THROW AT IT and best of all it was £78.99!!!

WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR??

I ordered it on Tuesday and received it on Friday and now I'm back to watching my DVD's!!

This player comes pre-modified so all you have to plug it in and watch whatever disc you like!!

black and white

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Nov 16, 2004
Bought this for my daughter last Christmas and it plays certain dvd's in black and white - but it's the tv that's at fault, not the dvd player. Excellant piece of kit, a bargain.

Keep your old CD player

(2 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Mar 2, 2004
Shows the movies just fine so that's that. However, it's not much cop as a CD player (which might be an issue if the space on the rack is a problem). Compared to my 10-year-old Sony CD component, the NS330 does NOT have (1) a headphone jack (2) program regime with total time and peak search - for cassette recording. I've one slightly scratched CD that plays fine on several other players but the NS330 chokes on it.

When I pop in a music CD, the telly comes on which is absolutely useless as even the track number is not shown. The screen interface for mp3 is more useful, but still a bit confusing. Finally, my new-ish Thomson TV doesn't respond to the NS330's remote even though I've followed the instructions in the manual (which suggests it should).

Nice but so far, not multi-regional!

(3 out of 5) by Mrs. C. A. Tryfona on Feb 3, 2004
This is a lovely DVD but I can't get any of my region 1 DVDs to play on it. They are shown in black and white and they are grainy to boot.

Besides that, it plays the Region 2 DVDs beautifully!

Black and White TV lovers apply here

(2 out of 5) by Danny Newby on Nov 11, 2004 (Birmingham)
If you like black and white DVD's, you will love this DVD. Anything that is not strictly 100% UK region you will struggle to gain a colour picture. After days of research I finally chose this DVD. What a waste of time that was. AVOID!!!
