With repeat and random functions for the whole library or just the current directory as well as playlist creation and A-B repeat this player has the lot (there are others too but I don't see the point in playing 10 second intros?!?). Its also got recording and encoding from an internal microphone, the radio or the line in - which does a solid job from what I've heard so far.
I can only find 2 drawbacks, no Digital Radio just plain old analogue and the transfer speed.
No Digital Radio: what do you expect for a top class MP3 player that costs about £250. However, the reception is particulalry good due to the headphones being used as an aerial (if I've understood the manual properly)
Transfer Speed: I'm very impatient, if its not ready within a minute I get bored waiting, so it shouldn't be a problem for most
These points probably say more about me than the player though!
The player is so light that you can't tell you have it when you're running and it feels too light to make such gorgeous sounds.
Its the gadget to own in 2004, if you are thinking of getting one, do it - I love mine and you probably will too.
The full 5 stars from me - looks, sounds and just is stunning.
