Good range, good price, good speed...

Jan 18, 2004 - By Amazon Customer

While the fact that to install this piece of hardware, you have to open up the case of your PC, a task that has most people running, I found that the good instructions, together with the clam shell opening system on my new dell computer meant that instalation was a breeze, its also got a good range, meaning that I can now share the internet connection between the house and my office at the end of the garden. I recomend this for anyone who wants a well priced wireless access point and doesnt want another 'box' cluttering the desktop.

easy to install and easy to use

I was slightly bemused when I opened the box and read the quick setup instructions; I got the impression that the instructions as I expect with most that you get out of a box were going to be useless. However much to my delight the card is a breeze to install, simply install the software off the CD first (which I thought to be strange, normally its the other way around. But trust me its does not work if you plug the card in first. Don't ask me how I know that!!) and then simply plug in the card and away you go. If you have matched the wireless card with a Dlink router as I have it detects it straight away and you have connection straight way. The instructions are brief for a reason. To summarise very good.
