This camera is a very good camera. Whether it's right for you really depends what you are looking for from a camera. If you want a digital SLR, this isn't for you. If you want a strictly point and click, this isn't for you either.

The camera offers some manual options, which can be great to play with. The zoom is fantastic and is also fun to play with. The menu structure is really simple and very intuitive to use. It's really hard to go wrong with it. I'm very pleased with the resolution and if you get a decent sized memory card, you can take an awful lot of pictures. The battery life also appears to very good, I haven't had to replace mine yet, and I've been snapping away like a mad person.

Now to the down sides, and there's one big one, the camera. It's a beast! And with the lens out it's even more immense. Having said that, I'd still recommend it. This is for the enthusiastic amateur, people who like their gadgets, and people who want a digital SLR but can't afford one.

Gee Wiz!!! this camera is worth its weight in gold! super picture quality and the range of features is really somthing. You can preety much do anything you set your mind on doing with this model. The mega pixels you get for your money is really good. 5.9 mega pixels can produce a rwally sharp image and of a resonable size to. the size of its memory card is also useful (32mb) as it exceeds that of many other cameras at this price(16mb). I am very happy with this camera overall and the advantages beat any disadvantages people may tell you! what are you waiting for, this is the GOD of all digital cameras. Disapointment is not an option.
