The scanner is perfect for extremely high quality prints, my m8 is a graphic designer so got the scanner on a recommendation from someone in the business.

If your new to scanning dont be fooled by scanners offering high dpi, this is just a ploy tricking you into buying a tool more expensive than you need, in reality you rarely scan above 600-1200 dpi, this resolution is good enough to produce high quality replicas of photographs/documents containing the most acute detail.

The scanner is excellent value for money, suiting both the casual user + those who need the best quality. It is great for replicating photos especially when used in conjuction with photoshop.

The delivery from Amazon was unbelievable! It was over £25 so Super-saver FREE delivery, ordered it on Tuesday and was on my desk by Thursday morning.

I was never worried about the scanner (as my m8 has already had one for over 12 months) but the service was excellent. You do get adaquate software with this product although alot of you will already have your prefered software to use in conjunction with it.

The description and customer reviews for this product are dead accurate. The Epson 1670 Photo Scanner is extremely easy to install - both the software and scanner itself. The scanner and software package included are also very easy to use.

The results are stunning, with quite superb quality of the scanned photos. This scanner is extremely good value and high quality. Highly recommended!!!

I spent too long messing around with other manufacturers but have finally returned to Epson with both my printer and my scanner. This scanner does everything i require of it and more. I'm sure for commercial use or photo editing theres better options (at higher prices) but for household use i cant imagine anything doing the job better. Its incredibly easy to use, between its software and Windows XP it pretty much installs itself, and from then on everything is controlled by the simple Smart Panel. I wont be leaving Epson again.
