Probably the best MD player/recorder around

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Nov 22, 2003
When I first got one of these, I was astounded by the quality of it.
Firstly, it's kinda cheap, for what it is.
Secondly, it's made by Panasonic.
Lastly, it's the lightest and smallest MD recorder around (at least it used to be)
So save up and buy it.

Only buy if your budget is tight

This is a decent unit, however, considering that it cost more than £200 when it first came out makes you wonder how many Panasonic sold. These units look and feel cheap, the headphones are naff and the remote control is functional and plasticky. They can be picked up for £50 now, so the massive price drop should be a good indication on how valued and good this unit is. But if you just want digital music at a low price then for £50 it is by far the best unit out there.

super sleek

This is a really good mini-disc. It looks cool, not too flashy but minimalist in design. Easy to use with many features but not so it is overcomplicated. I feel with the competition between Sony and Panasonic (with Sony usually being presumed to be the best) Panasonic give you more for your money, whilst being top quality.
