This printer not only looks good, it is good. The print quality is excllent and quick, and it is very cheap to buy ink for it. The driver is easy to install and the printer itself is too. I've already printed of 3 A4 photos (one using the borderless feature), and 4 6x4 photos. I can't fault it. Well done Canon!

this printer is absolutly brill. its fast small and brilliant quility. when printed on glossy its brill when its printed on photo paper its brill. when its printed on plain its actulay brill as well. there are alot of features on this printer including quit mode, photo optimizer. i hope you make the right choice.

I decided to purchase this printer based on the cost of replacement ink cartridges. Around £6k for black ink and £13 for colour - a massive saving when compared to other cartridges. Print outs are very clear and sharp.

Set up was easy. However, some of the terminology used differs slightly to what you maybe used to. For example, you need to click on warranty on the Canon site to register the product.

One feature I really like is the auto-off function. I use the printer on a home network. By using the auto-off function, the printer remains off until someone decides to print to it. The printer then switches itself on for the print job, turning itself off gain after a certain time. Saves on electricity!

I have been extremelly pleased with the printer - you can now print without feeling guilty!!! I would recommend this printer for its value, quality, features and price of ink cartridges. A real star and gem of a printer!
