A must for low level macro photography

(4 out of 5) by Mr. Nic Hamilton on Feb 6, 2009
If you're into macro photography, particularly that of low level plants or fungi then this is a must. No need to strain muscles in your next to see through the viewfinder. Has a useful option to switch to higher magnification for checking focus accuracy.

It somes complete with adaptors to fit most of the current range of Canon digital SLRs. I use it with both the 5D and 40D.

Nifty gadget

(5 out of 5) by Dr. Allan Harris on Jun 17, 2009 (York, UK)
This is supposed to be used with the camera on a tripod but I have found that I can hand hold with a macro lens to get down really low to flowers to try to photograph bees etc. The 2.5x magnification setting is really helpful for accurate focus. The eyepiece correction which focuses for individual eyesight could do with a lock as it is easy to move it, but all in all a very well made solid bit of kit.

Canon angle finder

(4 out of 5) by R. J. Wells on Nov 3, 2009 (Hamshire UK)
A well made device that does all it says on the tin. Easy to use and set-up and includes an eye-piece adapter to widen the range of cameras it fits. The finder and adapter fit in a smart pouch. Care must be taken not to misplace the rubber edged eye-piece fitted as standard as this must be removed in order to fit the angle finder.

A must have item for high alt. photos.

(5 out of 5) by Richard Staples on Jul 31, 2009 (England)
I bought this item to use with photographing the eclipse.
I could not have done it without it, not with out serious injury to my neck.
Eclipse chasers will know what I mean.
A must have item.
