Panasonic GD-55
(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Nov 11, 2003A very good little phone with a very loud ring tone and a very bright screen, the loudest phone I've heard, volume can be adjusted to suit your profile.
The size of it is amazing it can fit into your trouser pocket and not get in the way when you sit down.
Lots of functions on it but I only use the text message and games.
The battery last for a long time before needing charged.
The hands free plugs straight into the side of it and automatically changes the settings on the phone to hands free and when removed returns the settings back to your profile.
A very popular phone with young people for its size and volume.

Nice little phone
(4 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Sep 30, 2003Feeling sorry that no-one has written a review for this excellent little phone. I think it would shift better if they had a picture. My girlfriend has one, and it's certainly petite. Battery life is good for a week, and she uses it alot. Has good reception in poor areas, good talktime. I didn't like the menu much, but I'm used to Nokia, so didn't make much effort to try. Buttons are a little small for men's hands.
Well, now this phone has gained one review, albeit second-hand..

I love this phone!

I got one for Christmas and everything works great.I was even able to download ringtones at www.universalringtones.net.I'm the only person at my school that has it and they adore it. So if you are thinking about getting it you should.I plan to keep mine!

tiny tiny phone
(3 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jan 27, 2004The slimline lightweight phone is small enough to sit in the palm of your hand.The buttons are rather small so typing is rather awkward at first, or when drunk.Similar to nokias predictive text is available.The choice of ringtones is average but there is the opp to download more.The battery holds a charge well and doesnt take long to top up.The one game is poor and would only entertain those with nothing else to do.generally a good phone, stylish small and sexy

Good looks good price
(3 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jan 13, 2004When i first got the panasonic gd55 i was buzzin.3 days after christmas the battary fell off and wouldent go back on so i took it back and they couldent exchange it for a new one, which dissapointed me so i had to super glue it on 3 of my friends had the same one and it happend to them.it has good looks and a good price and i would reccomend people to buy it but keep ur recipt coz its not worth the price if it breaks
