Great overall phone.....

Ok... If ya want an nokia this has got to be the phone for you. Better than the 3330 and 3410 yet not as good as the higher spec nokia phones. The good thing is that it is very affordable for what you get. Colour screen, java games and polyphonic ringtones. I was very inpressed with mine. The battery lasts for days!!!

Great for the price

(3 out of 5) by S. Taylor on Sep 5, 2003 (England)
Ok, for starters, this is the first Nokia phone I've ever bought with covers that stay on and don't wiggle around when you're using it, so that's great.

The colour screen is good, however the resolution is only about 90x90 pixels which isn't as high as most other colour phones so when putting pictures on it, the detail isn't that great. Also if you want to put pictures on it, you either have to find a website to upload a pic, then send it to your phone or buy a data cable, which is a bit of a pain.

The battery lasts for days which is great.

One of my only problems with using it, is that the buttons are a bit squidgy which makes typing a little waring on the thumbs and sometimes means typing the wrong thing.

Ring tones are good if you like Polyphonic but they're no way near as loud as conventional ring tones, even when I set it to it's loudest setting, if i'm outside in a not that noisy environment I sometimes don't hear it.

There are 2 text alert noises, one sounds like a typical nokia one, only polyphonic-erised and the other sounds like the Pantomime fairy about to come on stage, which gets a good laugh if it goes off.

So all in all, a great phone but could have done with firmer buttons and a camera add-on facility would have been nice! But for the price, if you're looking for a cheep polyphonic phone that's easy to use with a colour screen with MMS AND SMS, i highly reccomend it, although if you have a little more money to spend, spend it on a higher spec phone.

Cracking reliable phone

(5 out of 5) by Spuddybuddy on May 27, 2008 (Liverpool, England)
I've had my 3510i since it came out,(quite literally years!), this is the most reliable phone i've ever had. Despite owning an N series Nokia now, i can't believe how often i end up going back to old faithful, the newer phones seem to spend lots of their time in repair, so, it's back to this phone again and again, ok it doesn't have a camera and isn't an all singing all dancing type of phone, but if you want a phone that will always be reliable then i can't recommend this model highly enough. I love it so much that i've just paid £3.99 for a replacement battery so my mum can now use it. I recommend this phone to everyone

nokia 3510i

The nokia 3510 i is a great phone at an affordable price-its great value for money. You can send MMS, it has a colour screen and can download java games; such as tom clancy's splinter cell, pacman (etc)
The colour screen is bright and makes the screen easier on the eye, however its not great for pictures as the resolution is not too high.
Its not too heavy in weight and the buttons are just the right shape and squidgyness making it great for sending text messages.
The polyphonic ringtones you can download are really cool and sound great, although not as good as the higher spec phones. However, for the price you are paying its a really great phone.
